Instructions to authors
In order to avoid
heartburn from lawyers who have nothing better to do with their time, please observe the following rules:
1. If the paper
has previously appeared in a difficult-to-get publication, please obtain a release from the publisher. Send one copy of the release to the webmaster.
2. For all other mss (pre-publication drafts, papers appearing in fugitive venues), include on the first page in large, bold type,
the following:
``DRAFT; CIRCULATED FOR COMMENT ONLY. DO NOT CITE WITHOUT PERMISSION OF AUTHOR(S)"
3. For papers which are subsequently submitted to journals, it would be wise to be sure that the posted version is significantly
different than the one published in the journal.
4. When a paper is accepted for publication in a journal, the author(s)
should notify the webmaster so that the posted version can be withdrawn. A notice will be posted listed where and when the paper will appear in the journal.

2. Papers appearing in hard-to-get journal
3. Papers
in the fugitive press (e.g., technical reports to sponsors)
Format for Submissions
Papers can be submitted in any of the following formats:
1. Acrobat 3.0 or better (preferred) (PC or Mac)
2. Word 6 or better (PC or Mac)
Method of Submission
1. 3.5 floppy (preferred) (PC or Mac)
